Our Mission

  • To enhance the educational experience of the Aurora City Schools.

The Aurora Schools Foundation is a non-profit, charitable, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting the educational programs of the Aurora City Schools.  Founded in 1994 as an independent community-based organization, the Foundation is governed by a board of trustees comprised of community members and representatives from other school support groups.

Our Goals

  • To annually provide additional financial support and resources for the students and educational programs of the Aurora Schools through scholarships and grants.

  • To build a long-term invested Endowment Fund using earnings to benefit Aurora students and educators, building financial resources to support  scholarships and innovative and enhanced educational opportunities in perpetuity.
